POE stands for Power over Ethernet. It refers to a technology that allows the Ethernet cable to pass both the data and electric power. The POE power source is used to run devices such as phones, security cameras, wireless access points, etc. A typical configuration of a POE system is connecting the POE power source to a LAN switch and attaching the POE-enabled devices to the POE power source. This way, the devices can exchange data with the terminal LAN switch through the POE power source and be powered simultaneously. The POE technology materializes a more efficient network system with a less complex setup. Further, the fact that a POE unit runs without additional power cables and outlets lowers the cost of installing the system. Acro’s POE power units feature a power output up to 240W and other protections. Scroll down to check more details about our products.
This series includes AD1240-12S, AD1240-24S and AD1240-48S with 115/230VAC selectable input range and comprehensive protection function. The DIN rail / bracket mounting solution with compact dimensions makes this series perfectly suitable to be installed in distribution board supplying power source for PLC, HMI and I/O devices. In addition, this series can be custmized for POE power source as well. Last but not least, long life aluminum electrolytic capacitor, 100% burn-in testing, and moisture proof coating make Acro industrial power supply be reviewed by global customers as rugged power supply, robust power supply, or heavy duty power supply. All of our models have RoHS compliance, CE marking and meet UL508 requirement.
